2012 Artist Studio Tour - November 3 & 4

The eight annual Artists of Rappahannock Studio & Gallery Tour will be held Saturday and Sunday, November 3 and 4, 10AM-5PM, in the foothills of Virginia’s Blue Ridge.  Visit the studios of dozens of artists, many of them in their homes in the beautiful countryside, and tour more than a dozen galleries in the area.

The Tour begins at the Fire Hall in “Little” Washington, Virginia, where you will be able to view representative artwork from all the  studios and galleries and pick up a map with driving directions to all the locations. There is a $10 per person admission at the door.

Fall Foliage

In October and early November, the trees begin to get ready for winter, offering visitors sensational leaf peeping opportunities for which the area is famous. Start with the huge sugar maple directly across the street from the Ordinary and move toward Shenandoah National Park and Skyline Drive. Bring your camera and a picnic lunch.

Driving Tours and Car Service

Don’t want to drive? We can recommend a car service with a sedan or limousine, or just a driver for your own car. This works well if you are touring wineries or just don’t want to drive after that special dinner.  Advance reservations are required - we recommend booking well in advance.
