Year after year, the Rappahannock Rough Ride one-day bike tour event is a chance for people to escape the crowds and explore the backroads of Rappahannock County. There will be multiple routes to choose from that range in distance and difficulty. Whether you’re looking for a challenging distance, gravel course, or a shorter, family-friendly loop, there will be an option best suited for you.

An annual event hosted on the first Saturday of October that boasts food, drinks, children's activities, craft vendors, antique tractor exhibition, live music, and more.  Proceeds benefit Headwaters, the Rappahannock County Public Education Foundation.  

This annual community Oktoberfest features authentic German food and bier, an antique car show, live music and other activities such as pony rides, axe throwing, hair braiding, and a moonbounce.  

Hopkins Ordinary will have a tent at Pen Druid’s annual End of Oktoberfest party and pig roast, alongside several other local breweries and cideries. Come celebrate the end of the harvest season and the onset of cooler weather!

All are welcome to Main Street which will be closed for trick-or-treating at local businesses. Our “Haunted Hopkins” will have an expanded biergarten, a specialty menu and live music for all to enjoy.

The Fall Art Tour has grown into one of the Virginia’s premier events, drawing art and nature lovers from near and far. The three aspects that make the self-guided Tour unique are the wide variety of artists and artworks, the number of studios open to the public only on this weekend, and the natural beauty of the rural landscapes that visitors will explore.
